    The park facilities include a fully equipped camp kitchen, barbecue area, picnic spots, playground, laundry amenities, dump point, e-bike hire, automated bike wash, maintenance station and secure bike storage.

    King Edi Cottage is set in the heart of the King Valley wine and gourmet region overlooking mountains and boutique vineyards. Enjoy a coffee on the front porch while listening to the sounds of the King River across the road (only a two minute walk from your front door).

    Food and wine experiences within six-16 minutes include cafes, hotels, cellar doors and restaurants. Fish, swim and bike ride the region or simply walk next door to King River Estate to enjoy wine, dumplings and cheese platters.

    The cottage includes four queen size rooms, one bathroom, accommodating up to eight people. The house has been recently renovated inside and includes hardwood floors, an indoor wood fire heater, an outdoor dining set and a fire pit.

    Other things to note: Telephone coverage is inconsistent in parts of the house, however, there is coverage outside. Optus and Telstra work best. Starlink free WiFi for streaming, but with plenty of board games and rolling hills to captivate your attention, it is a great space to relax and unwind.

    Church Lane Accommodation is the newest accommodation in Milawa, completed July 2022.

    It consists of two private self contained apartments, adjacent to the historical St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, built in 1866, which became the Uniting Church around 1977.

    Within walking distance to Brown Brothers Winery and Cellar Door, the Milawa Cheese Factory, Milawa Bread, Milawa Hotel, Restaurant Merlot and Ava Restaurant, eliminating the need to drive anywhere.

    Milawa has one of Victoria’s most picturesque rail trails, so if you’re into cycling, bring your bike or there’s a local business that does bike hire. The electric bikes for hire with baskets and saddle bags make it easy to bring home wine, cheese and crusty breads or takeaway from local producers.

    Being at the beginning of King Valley’s Prosecco Road, there are numerous wineries with great food and wine only a short drive away.
