Pizzini’s cellar door took national honours in the 2015 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards for Best Winery, Brewery or Distillery. The award recognises the family’s commitment to their Italian heritage and community, continual innovation and generous hospitality.
At cellar door you can taste Italian wine varieties that you may not have tasted before including verdicchio and brachetto alongside wines Pizzini has pioneered in Australia such as sangiovese and nebbiolo.
Your visit could include a cooking class at the A Tavola! cooking school, sampling delicious produce, or playing Giant Jenga or Connect Four in the gardens.
Pizzini also offers vineyard accommodation and owns the Mountain View Hotel in Whitfield, where you can enjoy a meal from either the restaurant or gastropub menus.
Cellar door is open seven days; Pizzini’s prosecco will be released October 2011.
