Come and see the balloons take off, and follow their flights, as the pilots take advantage of the prevailing winds to fly over vineyards and between mountain ranges. The misty mornings of winter make the vision even more magical.

Balloons will be launching from Brown Brothers Milawa Airfield, on the eastern side of Milawa-Bobinwarrah Road, just past Lindenwarrah at Milawa, opposite Brown Brothers Milawa Vineyard. Preparation for morning flights starts at 6.30am with balloons lifting off from 7am.

Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available from 6:45am. Fundraising BBQ egg & bacon breakfast from 6.45am provided by local schools and community groups.

Ample car parking available.

PLEASE NOTE: Whitfield balloon launch site soon to be announced.

As part of the inaugural King Valley Balloon Festival, join us at the Brown Brothers Night Glow for an exciting evening, like never before seen in Milawa!

Grab a glass of mulled wine, some warming wintry foods and watch the balloons light up around you on Brown Brothers Milawa Airfield. Live music by Cutest Little Monster.
