From Lilydale the distance to Whitfield is about 210km. Travel time is approximately 2 hours 50 minutes. From Canberra to OxleyCanberra is located about 430km to the north east of Oxley. From Northbourne Ave, follow the Barton Highway and take the on ramp to the Hume Freeway. Take the off ramp to Wangaratta, continue through town and turn left at the second set of traffic lights; continue along this road (King Valley Road, also known as the Wangaratta Whitfield Road) approximately 10km until you arrive at the Snow Road intersection. Turn left for Oxley and Milawa wineries; continue straight ahead for Moyhu, Whitfield and Cheshunt wineries. Travel time is about 5 hours 20 minutes. When driving through Wangaratta you will pass the Visitor Information Centre on your left just after going through the first roundabout (100-104 Murphy Street, ph 1800 801 065; open daily).
The nearest airport providing scheduled services is in Albury, approximately 1 hour 15 minutes drive time from Oxley. Services from Sydney are provided by Qantaslink, Regional Express and Virgin Blue Airlines. Regional Express provides a daily service from Melbourne and Brindabella Airlines flies from Canberra Monday-Friday.
